Connecting You With Rural Sri Lanka

Welcome to Thambiliwatte Farm: Where Sustainability Meets Community

A place where love for the land and its people flourishes. We're a family-run farm dedicated to sustainable practices, organic farming, and the simple joy of farm-to-table living.

More than just a farm, we're a community hub. We try to work together with our village neighbors, sharing knowledge about organic farming and engaging the next generation with future school programs. It's a two-way street – we learn from the ancient agricultural heritage in Sri Lanka while embracing new technologies and advancements where possible. Every day is a chance to grow!

Our commitment goes beyond the harvest. We strive to minimize waste and nurture the land for future generations. But Thambiliwatte's heart lies in its people. Our dedicated team, many like family, are the backbone of our farm. We invest in all of our well-being, fostering an environment that celebrates both hard work and personal fulfillment.

We're committed to responsible practices. We use solar panels to power our operations and pump water, and electric transportation is our preferred choice whenever possible. We're also invested in the community's well-being, with plans for educational initiatives in place.

Healthy Wellbeing Lifestyle

Nestled amidst nature's bounty lies Thambiliwatte Farm, a haven for those seeking a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

At Thambiliwatte, we strive to learn about organic farming and share this with others. Our crops flourish without the aid of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, ensuring the purest, most wholesome produce reaches your table. We believe in the magic of farm-to-table dining, where the journey from seed to plate is a mere stroll across the fields. This not only guarantees freshness but fosters a deep connection between the food we grow and the meals we share.

Our commitment extends beyond the harvest. We strive for continuous improvement in our methods, embracing sustainable practices that minimize waste and nurture the land for generations to come. Thambiliwatte is more than just a farm; it's a family. Our dedicated team, many of whom have been with us for years, are the backbone of our operation. We invest in their growth, not just as skilled farmers, but as individuals, fostering a work environment that celebrates both hard work and personal fulfillment.

Diversity is key to our table. From the towering coconut palms to vibrant fields bursting with heirloom rices, legumes, fruits, and vegetables, Thambiliwatte offers a cornucopia of nature's goodness. We may even transform some of this bounty into value-added products, creating a wider range of delicious offerings.
